A Viva Engage client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build innovative backend solutions that drive core business functionality! Job Duties: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to business requirements and technical specifications. Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver impactful features. Write clear documentation and maintain version control using modern development practices. Proactively identify areas of improvement in architecture, process, or infrastructure and contribute to solutions. Manage tasks and deliverables independently, showing strong ownership of assigned projects. Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, ideally working in backend development environments. Proficiency in Node.js for backend development and API integration. Strong understanding of software development principles, testing, and deployment processes. Demonstrated autonomy in managing development tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
