Job Title: Software Development Engineer (Angular) About Your Business Area/Department: Amadeus is at the forefront of improving traveler experience. The Airport Companion App is a major contributor to this improvement. It provides a mobile solution for roaming agents at the airport. Agents equipped with mobile devices (such as iPads) can serve travelers wherever they are in the airport, reducing the need to use physical desks. Initially designed for iPad (Apple) users only, we are now transforming to support more devices and platforms (e.g., Android) and increase adoption among our airline customers. Summary of the role: We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (DEV) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile software applications. You will work closely with other developers, QAs, UX, and PDAs, using agile methodology (SAFe) to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions that meet airline business requirements. You will work in a multicultural environment with colleagues based in Dallas and London. In this role you’ll: Design, develop, and maintain mobile software applications. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver product features. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Apply best practices in software development to ensure high standards of quality. About the ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a software developer, with a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Proficiency in Angular; knowledge of C++ is a plus. Experience with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of agile methodologies, either Scrum or SAFe. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Knowledge of the travel industry and related technologies is a plus. Good command of English.
