In this role, you will contribute to the development of complex software systems, working across multiple components and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.As a senior engineer, you bring deep hands-on expertise with PHP frameworks, solid architectural understanding, and a passion for clean, maintainable code. You will be a key contributor to technical decision-making, mentor fellow engineers, and help drive the strategic direction of our engineering practices.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Professional Experience3+ years of experience building software applications.2+ years of professional experience working with PHP in production environments.Soft SkillsAdvanced English proficiency (spoken and written).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Open-minded and eager to learn and adopt new technologies.Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Required Technical SkillsProficiency in PHP and modern frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel.Strong experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Solid understanding of SQL and relational database management.Skilled in developing and integrating APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).Strong understanding of unit testing and software quality assurance.Experience working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Nice to HaveUnderstanding of application security best practices (OWASP, OAuth).Experience with performance optimization techniques, including caching and code optimization.At Growth Acceleration Partners, we're an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
