Position Title: Senior .NET Software Engineer Location: Remote - Colombia What you will be doing: The Senior .NET Software Engineer plays a crucial role in stabilizing and enhancing our platform using best practices in design, development, and CI/CD. Collaborate with expansive engineering teams across Latin America and the US to drive engineering excellence through speed of delivery and innovation in solutions. Utilize your advanced experience in .NET development, AWS Serverless, and cloud-based applications to make significant contributions. As a key team member, you'll align closely with our product engineering team, impacting complex feature delivery and maintaining high-quality standards. Your responsibilities include: Design and implement complex features in alignment with best practices and architectural patterns. Write high-quality, maintainable code following architectural guidelines and code standards. Lead and contribute to technical discussions to identify optimal solutions for speed of delivery and innovation in solutions. Build and maintain scalable applications using AWS services, particularly in a serverless environment. Implement and maintain automated testing and deployment processes utilizing CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical growth within the team. Requirements & Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess: 5+ years of advanced proficiency in .NET Development, with a focus on backend development. Strong expertise in AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) and serverless architectures. Intermediate knowledge of Docker for deployment and environment consistency. Advanced expertise in developing and integrating REST APIs. Experience with automated testing and deployment processes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to drive technical discussions. Desired Skills: Intermediate experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for cloud-based application management (Nice to have). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). Experience with additional AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and RDS for various cloud architectures. Exposure to performance monitoring tools and techniques. Project management skills for enhanced team collaboration and workflow optimization. Certifications in relevant fields, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
