Cognitus Consulting is seeking a FICO Functional Lead looking for long-term growth and career enhancing opportunities leveraging SAP to solve our customer’s most challenging issues. Key Accountabilities - Works with business/configuration leaders to develop and prioritize an annual Project Portfolio including cost estimates and benefits. - Provides status updates on current projects to both the business and the Management after finalization of the Project Portfolio. - Collaborates multi-functionally with business partners throughout the company. - Knowledge of month end, quarter end and year end close processes and facilitating them working with Finance business community - Builds project plan timelines including identifying resource requirements. - Contributes to projects by addressing integration opportunities and coordinating training. - Leads and/or supervises the successful completion of all work associated with project phases. - Prepares Functional Specifications and in some cases, Technical Specification. - Development of the system, conducts unit testing of all developments and configuration. - Ensures consistency and integrity of system development across enterprise architecture. - Verifies Development/Functional documentation is updated. - Prepares and/or validates the generation/update of Functional Documentation and Unit Testing Scripts. - Supports the execution of unit, string, integration, and regression tests for end-to-end solutions for business events. - Ensures Quality delivery of Development from External Resources. - Ensures updating of documentation of design solutions and Known Error Database. - Collaborates with the AMS offshore team to ensure production support activities are handled. As a Functional Lead, you will assist in the leadership and delivery of engagements. You will build on your experience designing and executing transformation programs. You will collaborate and interface with client counterparts on a daily basis. You will also be involved in branding, thought leadership and knowledge management efforts with the objective of providing value-adding consulting services that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. **Responsibilities include**: Project Execution - Collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals and strategies - Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps - Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices - Configure / design SAP functionality and processes - Solution and document functional specifications - Define, execute and support testing of the solution - Perform knowledge transfer to client and supporting organizations throughout all phases of the project - Support management of project execution from start-to-finish in order to deliver according to plan (scope, quality and time) People Development - Mentor and coach team members through formal, performance evaluation methods and informal, individual feedback opportunities - Collaborate and share knowledge Practice Development - Create/contribute S4HANA practice artifacts - Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, training and retention - Provide insight and thought leadership to develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies **Required Qualifications**: - Eight (8) years of SAP experience in FICO SAP full lifecycle implementation experience.
