Endpoint Engineer Role We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with endpoint devices and have experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining them. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices. - Implement security measures to protect endpoints from malware, viruses, and other threats. - Ensure all endpoint devices comply with company policies and standards. - Continuously monitor endpoint performance and address any issues promptly. - Manage and deploy updates, patches, and software upgrades to endpoint devices. - Provide Level 2 support for endpoint-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for endpoint configurations, policies, and procedures. - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate endpoint management with overall network strategies. - Educate employees about best practices for endpoint security and usage. Requirements - Typically, 3-5 years of experience in endpoint management or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar. - Proficiency in endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune), operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and security protocols. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders. - Attention to detail in managing and securing endpoint devices. - Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation for endpoint management. - Experience working collaboratively within a team environment. - Analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with industry-specific requirements and standards for endpoint management.
