RESPONSIBILITIES Dedicate 50% of efforts as a Scrum Master and 50% as a Data Engineer, prioritizing Scrum Master activities. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Organize and lead daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure efficient workflow and communication within the team. Gather requirements from stakeholders and write clear user stories. Prioritize and maintain the product backlog on Azure DevOps. Collaborate with the development team to understand technical challenges. Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support product owners. Prepare and present weekly management updates. Encourage continuous improvement in team processes to enhance productivity. Estimate effort and monitor team capacity in effort points for each sprint and PI planning. As Data Engineer: Review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create PBIs for resolution. Monitor the status of DataBricks jobs and ADF pipelines. Understand ETL and ELT processes. Work with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Data Factory, and Python/Spark. Skills: As Scrum Master: Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development. Strong understanding of the software development cycle. Experience in writing user stories and managing product backlog. Excellent communication skills in Spanish & English. Proficiency in Azure DevOps. Strong knowledge of Scrum principles and practices. Experience with PI planning and fostering T-shaped teams. As Data Engineer: Proficiency in Python. Understanding of ETL/ELT processes. Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Data Factory. Ability to review monitoring reports and create PBIs. Focus on system maintenance. Desirable: Certification in project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
