Position Summary: We're seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure supporting reporting, advanced analytics, and BI. The role involves developing secure, high-performance data pipelines across AWS and Snowflake, collaborating with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams. Experience with BI platforms like Looker and QuickSight is essential. What You'll Do: Design and develop scalable ELT pipelines using Python, AWS Glue, or custom scripting Administer and optimize Snowflake data warehouse usage, storage, performance, and role-based access control Integrate and manage data from multiple sources including AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) and third-party APIs Build and maintain data models, views, and materialized tables for BI consumption Partner with analytics teams to build and support Looker Explores, LookML models, and QuickSight dashboards Implement best practices in data governance, quality, lineage, and monitoring Collaborate with DevOps or Infrastructure team to ensure secure and cost-effective architecture Contribute to documentation, architecture design, and continuous improvement of the data platform What You'll Bring To The Team: 2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, or similar Expert-level SQL skills, especially in PostgreSQL and Snowflake SQL dialects Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation (e.g., Pandas, SQLAlchemy, boto3) Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse administration and optimization Solid understanding of AWS ecosystem, particularly RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, CloudWatch Experience supporting BI tools like Looker Studio, Looker (LookML) and Amazon QuickSight Familiarity with CI/CD for data workflows (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or native tools) Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally We Offer You: Opportunities to work in a fast-paced startup environment supportive of teamwork, ownership, and purpose.
