**Systems Analyst** **Medellin.** **Monday to Friday** **PERMANENT POSITION** **$3M to $4.5M per month (depending on experience)** **DESCRIPTION**: **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**: **Essential Functions**: - Work closely with stakeholders to identify and document system functional and non-functional requirements. - Conduct system feasibility analysis. - Design system information flow. - Document functional specifications, flowcharts, data models, and other artifacts required for system development and deployment. - Track project progress and requirements. - Support and timely address assigned requirements. - Create solutions to strengthen current processes. - Troubleshoot and provide guidance on effective system use. - Investigate new technologies and evaluate its applicability in the organization's context. Also, propose improvements and suggest the adoption of new technologies that could benefit the system and the business. **Responsibilities** - Document system technical specifications. - Analyze system requirements and understand business needs. - Ensure precise implementations of technical specifications. - Maintain effective communication, troubleshooting, and coordination of activities. - Provide support and training to system end-users. - Understand stakeholders' needs. **REQUIREMENTS**: **Requirements**: - Bilingual, high level of proficiency in English and Spanish. - Experience in the health insurance and/or travel industry. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to discuss stakeholders’ issues, needs and propose solutions. - Proactive in proposing creative solutions for presented problems. - Agility to solve problems and develop solutions. - Ability to work in teams. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong organization and attention to detail skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. **NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE** - Knowledge and experience in systems analysis and design techniques. - Knowledge of system architectures, including an understanding of different architectural styles (e.g. client-server, layered architecture, microservices) and ability to design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions. - Ability to create flowcharts, use case diagrams, class diagrams, and other analysis and design artifacts. - Knowledge of information security and staying up to date on best practices to safeguard systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Experience in the design and management of databases. This includes data modeling, creating database schemas, using query languages such as SQL, and optimizing queries. - Knowledge of relevant programming languages for system development. - Knowledge and experience in agile development methodologies. - Desirable experience in the use of JIRA. **Education and Experience**: - Professional degree related to the following areas: systems, computing, computer science or related sciences. - Minimum 4 years of professional experience in similar roles.
