We are seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to join our South Carolina Transportation Business Group. In this role, you will: 1. Lead the detailed development of urban roadway design projects. 2. Perform quality assurance on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems. 3. Serve as a technical expert in your area of specialization, solving complex problems. 4. Take on project management responsibilities and interact with clients. 5. Supervise a team of professionals and technicians as needed. 6. Perform additional duties as required. Preferred Qualifications - MSCE degree. - Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, Microsoft Office applications. - Local candidates are preferred. - *LI-SM1 Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway engineering design. - Professional Engineer (PE) license. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Project management experience is desirable. - Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, and CAD alignment plans. - Coordination of survey, grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout is a plus.
