Main Purpose: Responsible for supervising the control and inspection of projects; preparation, revision, updating and distribution of the standards on details and specifications, estimating and preparing project specifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Accountable for: - Monitoring Contractor Construction team - Monitoring the Contractor’s efficiency against plans and schedules - Confirming System design including relative codes compliance - Reviewing the details design of a project - Confirming the construction quality control e.g. welding, civil, dimensional etc. - Evaluating design and cost proposals - Reviewing submittals from contractors for compliance with contracts - Making technical reviews and provides recommendations regarding designs - Keeping current, accurate records on each working project Understands technical facets of a project. Carries the responsibility for the proper project execution. Establishes the ways of communication between with the contractors for all technical issues. Interfaces with the existing infrastructures. Attendance at inspections of critical items of equipment and meetings. **Requirements**: **Experience**: - 4 years on existing projects and new projects or in similar position. - Undergraduate University Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or other related field. **Skills**: - Fluent in English - Solid knowledge of Windows XP and MS Office Applications - Knowledge of administrative and control processes - Proactive Competencies: - Proactive - Leadership Skills - Able to make decisions - Entrepreneur - Creative - Ability to solve problems Key Relationships and Department Overview: - Internal - OPS Management, Project Engineer. - External - Third party vendors.
