Job Description Become our client's Medical Benefits Advisor and support seamless patient experiences by managing appointment scheduling and clear communication between patients and healthcare providers. Champion patient needs with professionalism and care while building a stable, fulfilling career in a purpose-driven environment that values service, precision, and long-term growth. Job Overview Your Daily Tasks Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and explain copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Manage telephone encounters for medication refills and referrals. Respond to patient inquiries, provide general information, and offer support over the phone. Validate patient eligibility for appointments and procedure codes. Educate patients on insurance coverage and benefits. Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure accurate billing. Maintain thorough documentation of insurance details, appointments, and communication history. Use electronic health record (EHR) systems to update and manage patient records. Advocate for patient needs and ensure clear understanding of medical processes. Requirements The Qualifications We Seek 1 to 3 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting . Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Solid knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and healthcare billing. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to service. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Computer savvy with a strong general tech aptitude. Recent graduates are welcome; ideal for those seeking a stable, professional career path. Independent, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
