We are hiring a Lead of Country Operations in Colombia.We anticipate a large volume of applications for this role, so please apply as soon as you can, as we may close it at any timeABOUT THE JOB:Responsible for managing and expanding TUIs in country operations ensuring quality levels. This includes overseeing local ground operations, managing the relationship with suppliers and leading salesLead the contracting of touristic services/ components to put together our programs and annual tariffsCreate the country's tariff sheet with the centralized product/loading team, co defining deliverables and loading plansMaintain supplier relationships and engage in constant contact with key suppliers to have good valued and up to date productsSupervise the operation of bookings generated by the HQ, programming and monitoring the services according to quality standardsAct as product reference for clients and internal teams, being constantly updated with trends and the latest product newsCreate the Commercial Plan alongside the Regional Manager and Market Managers from the HQ to meet the sales budget assignedLead sales actions such as presentations, door to door trips and trade show participationWork closely with the reservations team in the HQ and ensure the sales & reservations team is properly trained in the country's productBe the representative and responsible for country operations, acting as senior contact in case of any incident or emergencyActively communicate any political, social or economic situation that could affect the operations in the countryEnsure that suppliers meet the requirements imposed by TUIEnsure that the team properly meets the procedures and company policiesCreate KPI reports when needed for the upper managementComply with internal SIG norms and contribute with continued improvementsABOUT YOUPrevious experience in Operations, Negotiations and Commercial leadership and solid experience in tourism industryComprehensive understanding of the country's inbound tourism activities, suppliers and trends in the assigned countExperience in operating programs in main regions of the assigned countStrong commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills and a successful record of closing deals and building strategic partnershipExcellent communication skillsExcellent written and spoken English and SpanishCustomer orientation, leadership, planning abilities and abilities to work in teaUnderstanding of digital components and new industry standards will be an advantage, especially on API-based connectivity, channel managers, reservation technologiesThe internal title of this role is Country Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr
