Cayenta has an opportunity for an Azure & Systems Administrator who will join the Research & Development department's Cloud team responsible for designing, deploying, administering, and maintaining our Cayenta Cloud platform and services, as well as our internal Cloud operations. This position is a hybrid role requiring experience administering Microsoft Azure Cloud and system administration related to Cayenta software and the platforms the software operates on. What your impact will be: - Administer and maintain Azure cloud platform and services.- Work closely with the architecture team to recommend, design, and implement security controls related to Azure AD, Azure Security, Defender for cloud, Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Disaster Recovery, or other azure native security solutions that effectively reflect our client's business needs, security, and service level requirements.- Support R&D; daily operations, including maintenance of development environments.- - Designing, deployment, and management of Network components like VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls, Web Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, API Gateway.- Networking/infrastructure planning, implementation, and administration.- Manage, deploy, and configure updates, patches, and other necessary changes on an as-needed basis.- Ensure integrity and performance of services via implementation and use of monitoring/support tools and alerting systems.- Make recommendations for future upgrades and opportunities for improvement to reliability, performance, security, or cost savings.- User access/permissions management and authentication.- Information security, including proactive assessment, monitoring, and remediation.- Develop and maintain technical documentation.- - Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of server and storage hardware to support internal users.- Hands-on implementation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of server and storage hardware infrastructure.- Coordinate orders and installation, system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing.- Accountable for ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved/exceeded.- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems - Implement security measures.- Monitor security certificates and company compliance with requirements.- Install and update company software and hardware as needed.- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work. What are we looking for: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant Experience.- Experience working with Azure Services, including but not limited to Service Bus, Azure DNS, Networking, App Insights, Azure Storage.- Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.- Experience with Docker. Nginx and Apache Tomcat.- Scripting and coding skills - PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Git, Azure Automation.- Additional concepts: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) APIs, Zero Trust.- Experience working with integration platforms is required.- Exceptional understanding of the requirements needed to design, deploy, manage, and maintain complex cloud and infrastructure environments.- Thorough understanding of VMware and Hyper-V operations and architecture.- Experience with IT Service Management Processes (ITSM) such as Change Management.- Some project management for enhanced system solutions and expansions, from design to implementation, may be required.- What will make you stand out: - Experience working in a hybrid Azure AD environment would be an asset.- AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator.- SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst.- AZ-305 - Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.- AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions.- Professional certifications are preferred. E.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V).- Experience or certification with Kubernetes.
