If you like a challenging environment where you’re working with the best and are encouraged to learn and experiment every day, there’s no better place - guaranteed! :) WHAT YOU WILL DO - Design and develop middleware solutions that consume APIs and transform data for Modern Campus products; - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Middleware and Product teams, to ensure integration accuracy and efficiency; - Work with various databases (Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQL) and API technologies (RESTful, SOAP, XML, JSON); - Ensure data transformation using technologies like Apache Camel and XSL translations; - Write automated tests using tools like Junit to maintain code quality; - Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders. MUST HAVES - Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR equivalent software development experience; - 8+ years of professional software development experience ; - Strong proficiency in Java/Groovy and Apache Camel with a focus on API development; - Experience working with APIs to transform and exchange data between systems; - Familiarity with technical tools such as Jira, Git, SVN, and similar tools; - Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions; - Upper-intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVES - Exposure to SIS systems such as Banner, Colleague, or PeopleSoft; - Experience with higher education ERP solutions; - Knowledge of additional technologies: DynamoDB, XML, and JSON transformations; - Familiarity with middleware-specific tools and frameworks; - Strong communication skills for collaboration and innovation.
