Your Role at Vantive The Analyst, Accountant, is responsible for activities related to Accounting to Report (A2R), with an emphasis on inventory management processes such as costing, reserves, revaluation, on-hand inventory, discards, supply chain finance, and others. The role requires understanding of reconciliation processes, accounting analysis, a task-oriented approach, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with finance and non-finance teams. It also involves ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality work on time. What You'll Be Doing Account for inventory technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc. Prepare manual journals with supporting documentation and certification as needed. Prepare inventory account reconciliations in Blackline, following established deadlines, and resolve open items. Perform timely and accurate month-end close activities. Provide audit support as required. Support regional and global reporting, including monthly Balance Sheet analysis. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Ensure adherence to company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulations; support strengthening financial processes and controls. Participate in local, regional, and global projects as needed. Identify and implement process improvements. Create and maintain DTPs, SOPs, and critical spreadsheets for job activities. Support the closure of open items and perform inventory analysis for stakeholders in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and controls. What You'll Bring A degree in technical accounting or a related field; a Bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus. At least 2 years of relevant professional experience. Background in cost and/or inventory accounting. Experience in a multinational environment and/or audit. Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible, and a proactive mindset. Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2+). Proficiency with reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query. ERP system knowledge (JDE is a plus). Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required. Experience with JDE, Blackline, Alteryx, and W-Desk is advantageous. Availability for additional hours during critical periods such as month-end, audits, or special projects, including work on public holidays if necessary.
