If you’re passionate about music, technology, and building meaningful tools, you’ll feel right at home here. **Compensation //** Between $7,000,000 - $9,100,000 COP gross monthly, depending on experience **About the role //** We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious **QA Analyst** to join our team and help ensure we deliver high-quality, reliable features to our clients. In this role, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other QA Analysts to test and validate features, reproduce bugs, and continuously improve the user experience. You'll be part of the Content squad, which supports core distribution functionality — including tools for release creation, metadata validation, and content delivery, but prior experience with music distribution is not required. This is a remote position reporting to the QA Associate Director. This is a highly collaborative, detail-oriented role that directly impacts how artists and labels distribute their music globally. **What you can expect to do //** - Collaborate with Product Managers to refine and verify user stories - Design and execute detailed test plans for new and existing features - Validate metadata and delivery flows according to DSP guidelines and XML standards - Reproduce reported issues and file clear, actionable bug reports - Communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and other squads - Participate in daily standups and ongoing team planning sessions - Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, tools, and documentation - Help track and report on defect trends and quality metrics **What you will need to have //** - Exceptional attention to detail, especially in interpreting complex requirements - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Intermediate SQL knowledge for querying and validating data - A user-first mindset with empathy for artists and internal stakeholders - Ability to evaluate usability and spot inconsistencies in user experiences - Comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating remotely **What else will be helpful in this role //** - Experience working with music metadata, DSP delivery standards, or XML - Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar - Familiarity with audio and video file formats and encoding - Experience using browser developer tools and debugging front-end issues - Automated testing experience (any framework) - Love for music **About Symphonic Distribution
