The new faculty member will join a team that is actively pursuing new frontiers in engineering education and research in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment. Candidates with backgrounds in applied statistics, operations research, data analytics, and artificial intelligence are encouraged to apply. Highly desirable are candidates who can teach broadly across the breadth of industrial engineering topics and have some prior experience with industry-based projects supporting the department's industry-based Capstone Design courses. Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring students, serving on graduate committees, and participating in education-focused research projects. The starting date is anticipated to be August 15, 2025, with future promotion potential. Qualifications A PhD in Industrial Engineering or a related field by the start date. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills. Demonstrated application of innovative teaching methods and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Commitment to student success. This is a multi-year, nine-month contract with potential for summer courses and renewal at the university's discretion.
