Proactively monitor key metrics to achieve expected results: Customer Loyalty Update Customer SOPs promptly. Maintain an accurate and complete customer’s approved list. Operational Performance Complete 52 hours of training annually (approximately 4.33 hours/month). Follow up properly on OPS/OPA and OSD. Support billing accuracy: CFIT. Update and recordkeep Edoc timely. Track and trace Air imports files daily. Service Provider Management (SPM) Monitor service providers and utilize SPM tools and resources. Data Quality Proper use of EDI. Resolve EDE issues within 5 calendar days. Understand and execute District Excellence standards. Security, Health, and Safety Adhere to safety and security policies. Compliance Follow TSA, Trade Partners, and In-bond regulations. Manage Service Provider Payments (ACH & Check). Understand Incoterms (Prepaid / Collect). Security, Health, and Safety Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents to the Branch’s Health and Safety representative. Air Imports Agent job responsibilities include: Understand and embody Expeditors’ policies, mission, vision, and culture. Follow general procedures and quality standards (District Excellence). Understand the Air Import process flow according to OPS standards and seek continuous improvement. Ensure accurate data entry into Expeditors’ systems. Utilize systems and tools such as Air Import Lateral, workflow, CFIT, EDOC, and automated reports effectively. Provide high-level customer service per Expeditors standards. Maintain and update customer SOPs and approved customer lists timely. Develop professional relationships with customers and keep them informed about shipment status, responding within one hour. Proactively advise customers and coordinate with brokers for customs clearance. Maintain good relationships with internal and external service providers. Support service provider management and teamwork. Escalate issues appropriately and ensure compliance with all regulations, including TSA and in-bond procedures. Manage billing and financial processes accurately. Complete mandatory training (52 hours/year). Utilize company resources correctly. Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent education and experience. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Problem-solving orientation. Proactive attitude. Strong organizational skills. Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Understanding of air import processes (preferred). TSA certification (preferred).
