In addition, our BIM-driven team has a passion for technology and design. **Responsibilities**: - General Managerial duties of the BIM team including ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance for BIM workflows; - Ensure project delivery meets BIM standards and the requirements for the project BIM Execution plan; - Understand and manage drawing workflows between engineering disciplines; - Translate project requirements into drawings/models that will be used by Engineers; - Operate according to the project scope, specifications, and design criteria within a project task team; - Ensure any changes in practice or project standards are effectively communicated to the project teams and implemented; - Work with other modelers, CAD specialists, and designers to build/manage model databases, templates, and standard procedures; - Support technician staff to ensure high-quality deliverables; - Provide ongoing training to project teams in the use of BIM tools; - Mentoring and overseeing the development of champions in less experienced staff; - Maintain existing standard content and safeguard their fidelity relative to any current and new company processes; - Perform quality checks on modeling efforts of others to ensure tools to support upstream engineering or downstream project management; - Investigate and develop methods to use BIM models or software tools to support engineering or downstream project management; Continually seek to identify opportunities to improve existing workflows or capabilities **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required**: - Good communication skills to interface with customers, engineers, and designers; - Expert knowledge in Autodesk Revit; - Familiarity with UK & US CAD Standards; - Familiarity with BIM standards is considered an asset; - Ability to oversee and manage employees and milestones to meet objectives and timelines; **Minimum qualifications required**: - Fluency in English; - At least 3 years experience as a BIM Manager or similar Management role; - Extensive experience in Revit construction, or relevant field experience; - Good understanding of construction modeling and documentation; - Complex problem-solving ability required.
