The Payroll Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the entire payroll process in the organization, ensuring compliance with Colombian labor legislation and internal procedures. This position requires communication skills in English and Spanish as you will work closely with global and local teams. The Payroll Manager will ensure accuracy in salary, tax, social security and other benefits calculations, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in processing employee data. Oversee payroll processing from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments. Coordinate with different departments to obtain updated information on time worked, permits, bonuses and deductions. Ensure compliance with tax, social security and labor regulations of Colombia. Ensure compliance with local laws, including labor laws, social security, pensions, and tax regulations. Monitor changes in labor law that affect payroll and apply adjustments as necessary Guarantee the correct settlement of vacations, disabilities, and other benefits. Prepare and present periodic reports on payroll costs, withholdings and deductions, for management and the financial department Collaborate with internal and external auditors on payroll reviews Ensure that documentation is up to date for labor inspections. Manage and maintain payroll software, ensuring it is up to date and running efficiently. Coordinate with the IT department to resolve any technical issues with the payroll system. Lead, train and develop the payroll team to ensure optimal performance and professional development. Collaborate with international teams in the implementation of global policies and best practices.
