About the Role Fostering a high-performing organizational culture and implementing strategic HR initiatives is at the core of this exciting opportunity. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the talent management landscape of our subsidiary in Colombia. Reporting to the VP of People Operations US and Colombia, this position requires a leader who can drive business outcomes through HR strategies that support employee engagement, workforce planning, and talent development. You will collaborate closely with management and key stakeholders across the business to ensure HR practices align with corporate goals and comply with Colombian labour laws. Your Key Responsibilities: 1. Talent Development and Management: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and managing disciplinary actions in compliance with Colombian labor law. 2. Employee Relations and Support: Collaborate with managers on employee relations issues, conduct investigations where necessary, and recommend corrective actions. 3. Talent Acquisition and Retention: Work with the talent acquisition team to align hiring needs with business strategies and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees. 4. Performance Appraisal and Feedback: Drive the performance appraisal process by coaching managers and ensuring that performance feedback is consistent, timely, and aligned with organizational goals. 5. HR Policy Implementation: Ensure company HR policies are well communicated, understood, and implemented in accordance with local labour laws. 6. Compliance and Governance: Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure Colombian HR processes align with global standards and maintain the company's compliance with all Colombian labor laws and employment regulations. Essential Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role. - Comfortable communicating in English as it's our corporate language, used on an everyday basis. - In-depth knowledge of Colombian labour laws. - Proven experience in handling complex employee relations issues.
