Essential Job Functions: Responsible for scheduling 80-100 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on a weekly basis, which includes part-time supports and Emergency Staffing services Proactive staff engagement through clear and precise communications where they feel informed and respected Responsible for finding solutions to time-off requests, resignations, no-shows, new hire training, holiday challenges and more Willingness to carry on-call phone and respond to after-hours calls as needed within a multi-person rotation, if needed Reconcile time off requests to PTO balances and staff vacancies and other leave-type programs Prepares/assists with preparation of the weekly OT report for management Promptly update reports to reflect open shifts and employee transfers Maintain knowledge of staffing ratios at each worksite and ensure compliance is being met all times Meet with administrative personnel to review questions and get updates, weekly. Attend meetings with administrative personnel to review onboarding/offboarding process, statistics, opportunities, etc., monthly (or as needed). Attend Leadership team meetings, weekly. Attend other meetings, as needed. Applicant Qualities: Ability to work with and respect individuals with development disabilities Creative thinker who can problem-solve a wide range of staffing challenges Ability to exercise independent judgement and initiatives within the limit of established policies and procedures Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions and adapt to changes in method and policies Must be proficient in the use of a computer Educational Requirements: Associate's degree in a Human Services related field OR 2-years' experience in staff scheduling, human resources, or related fields Must have valid Driver's License, proof of auto insurance. Must pass all federal, state, and agency required background checks Must pass and maintain CPR/First Aid and Abuse/Neglect training Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30AM-4:30PM Must be able to pass Family Care Safety Registry and criminal background check #J-18808-Ljbffr
