The Associate will manage accounting records, revise and update financial reports, and prepare financial data for audits, reviews, and taxation. To ensure success as a finance associate, you should possess in-depth knowledge of best practices in financial management and experience in a similar environment. An outstanding FP&A associate will be someone whose expertise results in accurate financial reporting and efficient account management. Furthermore, the FP&A function helps transform the company's overarching strategy into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets. Using financial modeling, it forecasts operating performance and profitability, setting annual targets for KPIs. It also provides an annual budget to advise management on decisions to improve performance, minimize risk, or seize new opportunities within the company and externally. The Associate will also work on special projects such as M&A, process optimization, market research, and capital allocation. Be an owner Assist with preparing operating budgets, financial statements, and reports. Process requisitions and other business forms, check account balances, and approve purchases. Administer, review, and process payroll in partnership with the accountant. Advise other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures. Manage account records, issue invoices, and handle payments. Be a solver Collaborate with internal departments to reconcile accounting discrepancies. Analyze financial data and assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations. Update financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest data. Manage petty cash and office supplies. Review financial policies and procedures for compliance. Maintain records and document financial processes. Administer contracts and documentation related to employees, clients, and suppliers. Maintain accurate inventory of company assets. Write it down Analyze trends of KPIs related to sales, expenditures, and profit margins. Monitor KPIs and identify causes of variances. Develop and improve budgeting, financial projections, and forecasts. Provide ad-hoc business performance reports. Present monthly and quarterly financial reports for various units. Implement business intelligence tools and dashboards. Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives. Support management and team leads with data-driven analysis. Required skills 3-4 years experience in accounting, finance, treasury, FP&A. Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar. Fluent in English and Spanish. Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet statements. Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and impactful. High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial ERPs and tools. Intermediate knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and tax codes. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
