Design, implement, and monitor the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (SG-SST) to ensure compliance with current legislation while protecting the safety and well-being of LatAm employees. This role plays a key part in integrating occupational health and safety into the company's broader EHS strategy and is a formal member of the EHS Committee , actively contributing to decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. - Health & Safety Compliance - Design, implement, and monitor the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (SG-SST), ensuring compliance with local legislation, company policies and industry standards - Lead health and safety audits as required within the framework of the SG-SST, managing corrective and preventive actions from these - Ensure compliance with client-specific safety regulations, standards and requirements - Keep regional procedures and documents related to health, safety, and environment up to date, ensuring compliance with current regulations - Report on SST activities to internal teams, clients, and auditors, ensuring transparency and compliance with established regulations - Monitor and analyze indicators from the Integrated Management System, in order to evaluate performance and adjust strategies to meet safety and occupational health goals and objectives - Ensure alignment and integration of all occupational health, safety, and environmental activities within the company's broader EHS strategy. - Act as a formal member of the EHS Committee, contributing to corporate safety initiatives, policy updates, and strategic planning - Workplace Risk Management & Training - Establish and lead epidemiological surveillance programs to monitor employee health and well-being - Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and occupational diseases, implementing corrective and preventive measures - Develop and implement safety plans, protocols, and risk mitigation strategies - Conduct regular training sessions for employees and contractors on SG-SST policies, procedures, and best practices - Coordination & Field Oversight - Manage preventive and corrective actions derived from risk assessments and safety inspections. - Ensure field operations align with national regulations and project-specific contractual commitments. - Supervise service providers defined within the SG-SST (e.g., ARL, advisors, site contractors) to ensure compliance with occupational safety requirements - Ensure compliance of SST activities managed by service providers such as ARL, advisors, site support contractors and other services defined within the SG-SST - Coordinate and supervise work-at-height activities, ensuring that established safety regulations and protocols are followed - Oversee the preparation and management of SST documentation for field activities, in coordination with PM and customers, ensuring compliance and readiness before works commence. - Act as the designated SST representative on-site, supervising activities and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards as required meeting contractual guidelines Requirements - Professional degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Administration, or Technologist in Occupational Health and Safety - Valid professional certification - SST License - Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating SG-SST processes - At least 3 years of experience supervising field activities in high-voltage electrical substations - At least 1 year of experience in implementing SG-SST systems - Valid certification in Safe Work at Heights Coordination - 50-hour SST course and/or 20-hour SGSST retraining course - In-depth knowledge of SST regulations, legislation, and legal requirements in Colombia - Strong skills in proactivity, responsiveness, interpersonal relationships, reliability, organization, collaboration, responsibility, leadership, and professionalism - Basic level of English - Good spelling - Intermediate Excel proficiency Benefits - Availability to travel as needed (approximately 40% of the month) - Employees based in Medellín are required to work from the office for a minimum of 2 days per week - Location: Bogotá, Medellín, Santa Marta or Barranquilla - Travel expenses: Covered by the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
