Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert The Senior Sales Engineer in Industrial Refrigeration is responsible for driving sales, growing, and managing the Industrial Refrigeration business in the Andean and CAC Regions. Reports to the Sales Director, Industrial Refrigeration, LAM. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop in-depth customer understanding, identifying areas where Danfoss can bring the greatest value within the Vertical product portfolios. Provide updates on critical activities such as pricing, commodities, forecasts, rebate plans, bad debts, product launches, and lead times. Provide competitive insight to marketing teams. Oversee development of Key Account Plans with an aggressive growth horizon based on customer business needs and customer-focused value propositions. Ensure updated records of all customer-related activities and tasks in CRM, and secure application of corporate sales processes. Develop and maintain an active Opportunity Pipeline for all accounts. Deliver forecast and business visibility to relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses these skills: A degree in Engineering. Proven experience in the Industrial Refrigeration market, with technical and/or sales management experience working with OEMs, system integrators, service partners, distribution channels, and end users. Mandatory knowledge of valves, electronic controls, and automation on Industrial Refrigeration applications. Desirable knowledge in heat exchangers (mostly semi-welded) and other controls and systems. Experience in opportunity management for project-based sales. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, handling multiple product types within the same opportunity. Proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong business acumen and strategy deployment skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong personal resilience, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive.
