Job Title: Logistics Service Coordinator Job Description: This role involves overseeing the completion of administrative tasks and coordinating activities related to the front-line operation, which may include data entry, ramp services, sort operations, tracing activities, dispatching services, and local customer support. Key Responsibilities: - Execute administrative tasks related to customs and international packages, including communication with internal and external customers. - Review daily information on delivery system exceptions and changes, station operations, service capabilities, volume, and other relevant topics to ensure accurate, consistent, and current information is provided to customers at all times. - Provide package status updates and basic tracking services by monitoring shipment movement and interpreting global tracking updates. - Initiate collections, deliver supplies, conduct shipment research, provide rate quotes, and request exceptions online. - Assist customers with shipping documentation preparation, including international regulatory assistance, shipping request preparation, and special notifications for worldwide pickup and delivery. - Proactively offer customer service using FedEx terminology to achieve 100% customer satisfaction in every transaction. - Determine the existence of service failures and request refunds within established limits. - Answer customer inquiries regarding service features, delivery and pickup procedures, release processes, and payment methods, ensuring maximum sensitivity and responsiveness to customer needs. - Identify new customers or additional business opportunities, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments, and send sales leads. Requirements: - Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize duties. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams. - Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures. - Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
