**Careers that Change Lives** The primary responsibility of this Rebate Analyst role is to support the calculation and reporting of rebate outcomes to Customers, Sales, Contracting, and various internal stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, data analysis, contract evaluation, organization, and stakeholder engagement. This role’s secondary responsibility is to contribute to and represent the department through completion of specific projects as defined in annual objectives. **A Day in the Life** Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Provide support to customers and internal stakeholders in response to status and calculation value inquiries. - Participate in system testing, issue reporting and creative problem solving. - Represent the department when communicating with business partners including Contracting, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Credit, IT, Systems, etc. - Analyze and understand data and share summarized findings - Special projects and support as needed. **Must Have: Minimum Requirements** - Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration, international business or related areas. - 2 or years of experience in a customer-facing, financial, sales support or analytic roles. - Fluent English level. - Intermediate to Advanced user of MS Excel and Business Objects or uivalent r eq eporting software. - Proficient in reviewing and understanding legal terms and conditions. - Ability to evaluate and enhance complex procedures. - Communicating effectively with a global team utilizing digital platforms. - Great communication skills. - Strong logic and analysis skills. - Effective collaboration with professionals in various disciplines. **Nice to Have** - Nice to have Medtronic experience. - Working knowledge of Vistex rebate software (SAP). - Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities. - Ability to work as an individual contributor with guidance from supervisor. - General ability to work in or learn Vistex, Excel, Power Point, and Business Objects. - Experience translating large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies. - Aptitude for quantitative and analytical skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Experience working with other cross-functional roles. **About Medtronic** Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
