Position Title: Senior Frontend Engineer Location: Remote - Colombia What you will be doing: As a key member of our engineering organization, you will lead the development and delivery of modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Angular 19, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. This role is integral to creating exceptional user experiences by collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers, working across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for international clients. You will play a critical part in shaping technical solutions, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring junior team members while ensuring code quality through code reviews and best practices. With practical experience required in RESTful API integration, testing frameworks (with an emphasis on expanding coverage, including Playwright), CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, and version control via Git, you will help the team stay at the forefront of frontend engineering. Your responsibilities will include: - Develop and maintain modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Angular 19, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate requirements and wireframes into functional, visually compelling components, leveraging tools such as Figma when appropriate. - Integrate frontend components with RESTful back-end services and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and robust user experiences. - Lead code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and promote frontend engineering best practices within the team. - Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization of frontend applications through advanced web development techniques and ongoing code refinement. - Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in technical discussions to guide project direction and drive innovation. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments, utilizing tools such as Bitbucket and Jira as needed. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and promote a culture of clear, professional communication. - Support the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, leveraging modern automation workflows to optimize deployment processes. - Advocate for and contribute to enhanced testing coverage, participating in the expansion of testing frameworks for unit and integration testing, with a focus on adopting tools such as Playwright. - Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting improvements and innovative solutions within the frontend development team.
