Position: Actuary and Reinsurance Manager. Talent Segment: Manager **Education**: Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, economic sciences, actuarial sciences, math, or related with master´s degree in Actuarial Sciences or Actuarial certifications (SOA/CAS). **Experience**: 8+ years of experience in actuarial departments of multinational insurance companies specifically in reserving topics. Special focus on non-life and health portfolios. **Knowledge and Skills**: Knowledge in insurance processes and products, financial markets, reserving methodologies, accounting standards such as IFRS17. Fluent English. Pricing models are a plus. Strong communication skills, and ability to connect business topics with actuarial results. Knowledge regarding reinsurance structures and optimization. **Main responsibilities**: - Lead the actuarial function and team based on the Company’s actuarial policy. - Connect the business strategy with the data analysis of the actuarial work and give financial advice to specific business areas. - Ensure the financial strength of the company by maintaining an adequate level of reserves and the clear understanding of the underlying profitability of the different lines of business of the company. - Support the different lines of business by establishing an appropriate reinsurance structure that balances growth and risk appetite. - Report and present the results of the actuarial work and the claims results of the different lines of business based on technical KPI´s to different stakeholders in the company (reserves committee, supervisory board, regional and group actuarial office). - Lead reinsurance negotiation process.
