IT Manager Job Purpose The CI&T IT Manager is a key member of our Global IT department, responsible for helping end-users resolve technical problems promptly and accurately. We seek a highly qualified IT Manager to lead our IT team, develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives, manage projects and resources, and coordinate with the Global IT Squad Leader, adhering to headquarters' processes and procedures. Responsibilities The goal is to ensure the efficient and secure operation of technology systems, provide technical support, align global IT strategies with local needs, and support organizational objectives. Leadership: Lead and motivate IT professionals, develop and manage the IT budget, stay updated on technological trends, and contribute to AI strategy implementation to optimize processes and promote organizational culture. On-site Tech Support: Establish best practices based on headquarters standards, train team members, and ensure high-quality hardware, software, and network support. Process Documentation: Own and update IT processes, create user guides, and technical manuals for local needs. Communication & Issue Resolution: Effectively communicate technical information, prioritize issues, and act as the primary contact for escalated problems. Incident & Stakeholder Management: Lead responses to critical incidents, coordinate efforts, and keep stakeholders informed. Process & Risk Management: Improve processes based on issue trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage IT risks. Financial & Vendor Management: Manage budgets and vendor relationships to ensure effective procurement and service delivery. Cybersecurity: Implement security protocols aligned with standards to protect data and IT assets. User Training & Collaboration: Train end-users, collaborate with business units, and understand their IT needs. Inventory & Innovation: Manage IT inventories, monitor technology trends, and propose innovative solutions. Additional Responsibilities: Promote a culture of innovation, develop troubleshooting checklists, report to management, and facilitate staff training. Work onsite in Medellin and enforce IT security policies. Knowledge and Experience Minimum 5 years in IT management, with leadership and project management experience. Background in technical support, user training, and stakeholder collaboration. Excellent communication skills in English. Experience with vendor management and knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Jira, Office 365, Adobe, Slack, Zoom, Patch management, RMM, UEM, and MDM. Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or certifications like PMP, CISSP, ITIL are a plus. Fluent in English.
