About The Role We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team and play a key role in shaping our product assortment and pricing strategies. In this role, you will conduct market research, analyze sales and consumer data, and monitor key performance indicators to optimize our product offerings and identify new growth opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and uncover market gaps, helping to drive business growth and enhance our position in the retail landscape. Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, shifting consumer preferences, and changes in the competitive landscape. Perform regular competitive analysis to benchmark product features, pricing, and positioning. Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to optimize product assortments and uncover growth opportunities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sell-through rates, margin performance, and inventory turnover, to evaluate product success. Support the development and execution of pricing strategies by analyzing costs and competitor pricing. Generate and present reports summarizing product performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations. Identify white space opportunities through market gap assessments and competitor research to inform new product development. Conduct trend analysis to highlight emerging styles, themes, and consumer behaviors that can influence merchandising direction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product development, or a similar role within the consumer goods or retail industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify market trends, and draw actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data forecasting tools. Demonstrated passion for consumer products, fashion, or the retail space.
