**Job description**: **shift 7 am to 5 pm CST** **Responsabilities**: Assist in the coordination and tracking of ocean freight shipments. Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Maintain and update shipment records in the logistics management system. Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status. Support the logistics team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry. Monitor and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to shipments. Prepare reports and presentations for management as needed. **Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in ocean logistics or freight forwarding. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with logistics management software and tools. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
