AI Architect Job Description This role involves designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that leverage advanced machine learning techniques. You will work with a small, high-caliber team to advance our AI-driven insights platform. - Design and deploy AI-driven insights tools that blend advanced machine learning techniques with pragmatic, real-world applications. - Develop and refine NLP models using spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and NLTK, leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to extract insights from unstructured data. - Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python, R, and JavaScript, incorporating data science libraries like Pandas, Polars, NumPy, and SciPy. - Design and optimize data pipelines, working with SQL and NoSQL databases, and automate reporting workflows using xlwings, python-pptx, and python-docx. - Deploy models and applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, AWS), following MLOps best practices for CI/CD. - Translate complex, ambiguous problems into actionable recommendations by asking the right questions, exploring data, and distilling findings into clear business insights. - Partner with internal stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure AI solutions align with our strategy and industry needs. Required Skills and Qualifications - Hands-on experience working with and delivering solutions in a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure). - Experience building LLM (Large Language Model) solutions in a production environment. - Expertise in Python, SQL, ETL pipeline development, and data processing. - Experience with embeddings and prescriptive insights (building knowledge graphs is a big plus). - Experience developing APIs (integrating LLM APIs like Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face is a big plus). - Ability to mix state-of-the-art AI techniques with proven, traditional analytics, choosing the right approach for each use case. - Proficiency in GitHub/Bitbucket, version control, branch management, and agile development methodologies. - Ability to work directly with stakeholders to develop timelines, navigate complexity, adapt quickly, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations. - Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences. - A mentor / coach mentality. - English proficiency.
