This role works internally on technical aspects of project design and externally with development partners and customers. This role will help drive our innovative approach to home building and contribute to solving the housing crisis. Responsibilities 1. Prepare submittal packages and manage architectural documents. 2. Communicate with consultants, contractors, and owners on project deliverables and schedules. 3. Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents to determine their effect on architectural designs. 4. Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required mediums and specifications. 5. Explain drawings to process engineers and construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary. 6. Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and determine presentation methods for building plans. 7. Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures. 8. Coordinate design intent with in-house drafting team to produce shop drawings, including external professionals' input. 9. Consult with other teams to determine functional or spatial requirements. 10. Develop final construction plans with aesthetic details. 11. Aid in compiling construction details for manuals. 12. Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs. 13. Conduct periodic observations of construction work to monitor compliance. 14. Generate graphics and visualizations for marketing and project submissions. 15. Assist sales team with technical product information for potential customers. 16. Other duties as assigned.
