**Responsibilities**: - Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, - Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. - Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. - Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Advanced SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies. - Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. - Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. **Requirements**: - Previous experience as a senior data engineer or in a similar role, management experience is a plus. - Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques - 2+ years of experience in a programming language preferably Python. - 8+ years of experience with advanced SQL/MySQL/Snowflake/PostgreSQL database design and T-SQL - 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or Looker. - Advanced working SQL/MySQL/Snowflake/PostgreSQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. - Passionate about data analytics and is a fast learner. - Experience in Machine Learning is a big plus. - Ability to work independently, solve problems, and learn quickly as part of a larger agile team. - Must be able to work 9 am to 6 pm Central Standard Time Zone. **Benefits**: - 100 % remoto. - Pago mensual en dólares (USD) por medio de Payoneer o Bitso, - Si el freelancer ya completó un año tiene derecho a solicitar vacaciones. - Cuando el freelancer cumple un año y dependiente del desempeño se puede renegociar tarifa. - Convenio con Poliglota, una reconocida plataforma de aprendizaje de idiomas disponible en LATAM.
