Hiring Department The Trulaske College of Business Master's Program Office (MPO) Job Description The Trulaske College of Business Master's Programs Office (MPO) seeks an experienced Senior Academic Advisor to support master's students and provide program services to master's business students and faculty. This position will be responsible for the following: Advise incoming and continuing master's students on all aspects of MBA or MS degree programs, including registration, policies, degree requirements, petitions, administrative and personal issues, departmental and campus programs, and graduation. Manage all accelerated master's student registration, advising, and programming, including a welcome event for accelerated students. Collaborate with undergraduate advisors to ensure smooth transition into the accelerated program. Oversee all graduate certificates within the college, including maintenance, recruitment, course development, changes, and collaboration with advising departments. Analyze department policies, programs, and procedures related to master's students and work with staff, faculty, and student leaders to update as needed. Manage graduation procedures, tracking degree status and completion timelines. Provide data and statistics on the master's student population and academic progress. Maintain effective communication and relationships within the college, university, and professional organizations. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., with occasional nights and weekends (2-3 times per semester). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Expanded knowledge of student support, graduate advising, business and curriculum processes, and student engagement. Knowledge of federal regulations for international students. Experience in customer service, planning student activities, creating activity reports, working with diverse populations, and using Microsoft Office and CRM systems like MyZou and PeopleSoft. Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and meeting deadlines.
