About this Role This leadership position will oversee multiple engineering teams within the Performance Review & Org Chart domain. The Associate Director of Engineering will ensure that engineering efforts align with business objectives, customer needs, and company growth strategies. You will lead complex problem-solving initiatives, perform root cause analysis on critical issues, and provide technical leadership in system design, troubleshooting, and debugging. Responsibilities - Guide and mentor Team Leads and their teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and career growth. - Lead the Performance Review & Org Chart domain. - Scale engineering operations by structuring and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency as the team grows. - Ensure teams deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, iterative environment using agile practices. - Provide technical leadership in system design, troubleshooting, and debugging, ensuring scalable and reliable software solutions. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years managing multiple engineering teams. - Experience leading teams in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally working with enterprise customers. - Proven ability to build teams from scratch, launch new products, and scale engineering operations. - Strong technical expertise in backend or full-stack development, with proficiency in modern web server frameworks like Python, JavaScript, and front-end technologies like React or Angular.
