You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure. About the Role The Cloud Architect Engineer plays a strategic and technical role in shaping BraveUS’s cloud ecosystem. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of cloud solutions, enabling secure and reliable operations across logistics, environmental, HR, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, technically hands-on, and focused on delivering business-aligned infrastructure and data capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design & Architecture: Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments on Azure to support integrations from distributed systems, devices, and enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, Dayforce). Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of legacy infrastructure (e.g., file servers, SQL databases) to Azure with minimal disruption to business operations. Support cloud-native transformations for reporting and logistics platforms. Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices including RBAC, network segmentation, encryption, and identity federation with Azure AD. Ensure compliance with ISO27001 and internal IT governance requirements. Data & Infrastructure Management: Design cloud-native data models to support both structured and unstructured data (e.g., cargo logs, HR records). Manage data across Azure SQL, Data Lake, and Azure Fabric. Enable real-time analytics and dashboards for business and environmental metrics. Monitoring & Automation: Implement automated monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with IT, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with organizational goals. Promote DevSecOps culture through best practices in software deployment and infrastructure provisioning. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or DevOps-related roles. Experience in industries such as logistics, environmental services, or manufacturing is a plus. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at B2–C1 level. Technical Skills & Tools Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (required); exposure to AWS or GCP is a plus. Infrastructure & Automation: Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform. CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Scripting & Development: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Data & Analytics: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native database technologies (SQL/NoSQL). Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (especially Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS). Monitoring & Performance: Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
