Job Summary A leadership role at Equinix involves driving and collaborating on work that impacts the world. This role provides direct supervision to professional and support individual contributors, guiding units or sub-units, and actively participating as needed to meet schedules and resolve issues. Responsibilities Identify and ensure safe & efficient storage and distribution of goods for Equinix and its customers. Receive process-driven work assignments, with a moderate level of control and review. Guide subordinates based on established policies and procedures. Contribute to managing costs related to the unit or sub-unit. Manage relationships between Equinix, Zona Franca Bogota, DIAN, and government entities. Quality Assurance Use systems to maintain accurate records and interrogate systems for queries. Enter all goods received into the inventory system, update databases, and ensure order requirements are fulfilled. Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation. Management Supervise team learning, performance, and development. Make decisions to ensure compliance with policies. Assist in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies. Assign tasks and monitor work regularly. Maintain schedules and workflow. Support LATAM region countries regarding inbound and outbound shipments. Policies/Methods Implement improvements to logistics systems or processes. Develop site strategies to meet business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and monitor stock inventory levels. Improve warehouse operations using lean practices. Compliance Maintain and monitor stock levels. Conduct scheduled logistics audits. Enhance warehouse operations through lean practices. Data Center Management Supervise data center equipment and inventory. Guide teams to meet schedules and resolve issues. Coordinate with suppliers on inventory lead times and POM orders. Define and report KPI metrics. Vendor Management Review vendor performance and identify improvements. Collaborate with procurement for efficiencies. Reporting Produce inventory and shipment reports. Provide insights on departmental performance. Act as the interface in managers' absence. Report to government entities such as DIAN and MINCIT. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in foreign trade, import/export, or related field. Supply chain specialization preferred. Hazardous materials or H&S certification preferred. Knowledge in trade compliance, logistics, market research, and strong communication skills. Financial knowledge and understanding of international trade law, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
