Job Title We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS professional to join our team. - As an EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees, visitors, and contractors in our operations. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to prevent accidents and injuries. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national laws and regulations. - Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards. - Lead and manage EHS training programs to ensure all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe work environment. - Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence. - Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS considerations into business decisions. - Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates and near-miss events. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an EHS Engineer or similar role. - Certification in an occupational health and safety management system is desirable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
