The Role The Associate of Production Finance for International Originals in Colombia will be part of our Local Language Originals Production Finance team at the Netflix Bogotá office. This role will support Production Finance Managers and cross-functional teams by protecting the company's financial exposure through production oversight and control. Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner, working closely and collaboratively with Netflix teams including Content, Production, Legal, Tax, Content Accounting, and FP&A. Manage relationships effectively, and inform & influence internal and external partners. Ensure accurate, timely, and complete review, analysis, and reporting of budgets, cost reports, and breakage. Manage cash flow and funding processes. Keep production finance information updated in Netflix systems. Have robust experience with local market taxes, IVA/VAT taxes, Unions, Incentives, among others. Provide training, guidance, and leadership to the team, ensuring implementation of best practices, financial controls, and cash management. Create and present insightful reports that summarize analysis to influence decision-making. Conduct post-mortem analyses to identify areas for optimization and improvement. Understand the production landscape, workflows, and reporting to effectively partner with external stakeholders like Financial Controllers and Lead Accountants. Focus on innovation to develop and test new production finance tools that enable better economies of scale. Be a trusted resource for information and a strategic business partner within the content team. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in production finance and/or production accounting, with significant exposure in Colombia. Knowledge of US-based production finance setups and accounting systems; experience with Cast & Crew PSL or EP Global Vista is a plus. Fluency in English and Spanish. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. High level of intellectual curiosity and results-oriented mindset. Solid understanding of territory payroll processes, tax, and government compliance requirements. Experience with budgeting and production accounting software; Movie Magic experience preferred. Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. Proactive, curious, self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills using financial applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A college degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
