Titleand Summary Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors &Consulting; Services, Program Management Services within Mastercardis responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers bymanaging fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving thedigital payments experience. We provide value-added services andleverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. OurAdvisors & Consulting Services team combines traditionalmanagement consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets,proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients withpowerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams workwith a diverse global customer base across industries, from bankingand payments to retail and restaurants. The Advisors &Consulting; Services group has five specializations: Strategy &Transformation;, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation,Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Managementconsultants lead clients through business transformations byimplementing strategically important Mastercard assets and servicesto bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and theclient’s organization. Roles and Responsibilities You will managemultiple projects within a portfolio, providing efficient andeffective coordination of a complex range of activities by clearlydefining project team and stakeholder roles and responsibilitiesthat are aligned with the delivery of the expected benefits. Youwill ensure effective identification of risks and pro-activesolutioning to mitigate risks and impact on timelines. ClientImpact - Manage deliverable development and workstreams on multiplelarge, complex high-value projects across a range of industries,problem statements, and cultures. - Utilize proven, accreditedproject and change management methodologies and techniques to helpclients drive measurable value. - Define scope, timelines, andbudget and perform cost, benefit, and risk analyses. - Report onissues, risks, progress, and timelines and summarize effectively,offering analysis, options, and credible solutions. - Manageworking relationship with client managers, and act as trusted andreliable partner. Team Collaboration & Culture - Develop soundbusiness recommendations and deliver effective clientpresentations. - Plan, organize, and structure own work and that ofjunior project team members to address client problems. - Lead teamand external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management. -Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solutiondevelopment, being a strong brand ambassador for Mastercard and Services. - Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-dayproject management across client projects, and mentor junior teammembers. Qualifications Basic qualifications - Undergraduate degreewith work experience in project management and change managementmethodologies and techniques. - Exposure to financial institutions,payments, and/or consultancies. - Ability to oversee complexprojects involving cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solvingand decision-making abilities. - Extensive experience in leadingorganization-wide projects within IT environments. - Proficiency inagile methodologies and practices. - Experience managing clients orinternal stakeholders. - Logical, structured thinking. - AdvancedWord, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. - Ability to perform multipletasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-drivenenvironment. - Ability to communicate effectively in English andthe local office language (if applicable). - Eligibility to work inthe country where you are applying, as well as apply for travelvisas as required by travel needs. Preferred qualifications -Experience developing and implementing solutions and measuringimpact on clients' business. - Experience coaching juniorconsultants. - Have completed or interested in pursuing recognizedprofessional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional(PMP). - Knowledge of Project Management tools. - Exposure topayments and/or retail banking or merchants. - MBA or master’sdegree with relevant specialization (not required).
