Be the Critical Care / Vascular sales leader of indirect channel in Central America, based on Colombia, managing all distributors channel to achieve financial goals by ensuring Critical Care business expansion based on existing and new technology adoption (disposables and capital/equipment sales). Responsibilities encompass builds, maintains and expands relationships with assigned distribution partners utilizing in-depth understanding of BU strategy and business model, medical devices industry and competitive landscape of assigned area. Availability to travel >50% of the time. - Key Responsibilities: - Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing distributors and recruits potential new distribution partners while coaching assigned distributors enabling them to close sales; - Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including technical, regulatory and marketing support while developing and leading the execution of both short - and long-term - business plan for as signed BU/area; - Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers, expands network in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy; - Develops and closes new business opportunities, and identifies area’s of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing annual plan to achieve region objectives; - Other incidental duties. - Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field, 5 years experience of progressive sales. Required and medical devices industry experience in others countries; - EW Critical Care portfolio knowledge, Advanced English and Spanish are advantages. - Additional Skills: - Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products; - Develops deeper understanding of own business, medical devices industry and selling environment of own region; - Full knowledge of customer organizations and how market environment impacts customers; - Full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business; - Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment; - Strict attention to detail; - Organized; - Understands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value; - Utilizes creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy; - Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
