Job Description We areseeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer who specializes inCompressors & Steam Turbines to join our Rotating EquipmentDivision (RED) under Equipment Consulting Services Department. REDis responsible to provide high level technicalconsultations/support to all the company operating facilities,joint ventures as well as heavily support the company mega projectsfrom the early stage till startup. As a Rotating EquipmentEngineer, your role will be to develop value adding concepts andtechnologies to address corporate challenges and enhance itsoperation. Furthermore, maintaining Saudi Aramco mandatoryengineering standards and best practices related to various typesof rotating equipment. Key Responsibilities As a successfulcandidate you will be required to perform the following: - Providetechnical consultations for equipment including dynamic (e.g.centrifugal), positive displacement (e.g. reciprocating)compressors, gearboxes and steam turbines. - Involve in specifyingand reviewing equipment designs, selections, ratings andspecifications for new projects including existing equipmentmodifications. - Maintain and improve the company compressors,gearboxes and steam turbines standards - Develop/introduce newtechnologies/innovative ideas to address business challenges or/andenhance equipment reliability/availability/performance. - Lead indeveloping and recommending solutions to solve plant machinerytechnical issues. - Provide work direction, technical advice andmentoring to teammates and junior engineers. Minimum RequirementsAs a successful candidate you will have: - Bachelor’s degree inMechanical Engineering from a recognized and approved program(advanced degree is preferred). - Minimum of 20 years of experiencein Rotating Equipment with more focus on compressors and steamturbines within refineries, chemical plants, gas plants or similarfacilities. - Ability to demonstrate experience in analyzingperformance, troubleshooting, selecting, and repair of process gascompressors, steam turbines and gearboxes including auxiliarycomponents such as seals, bearings and lube oil systems - Detailedknowledge of international codes and API standards related torotating equipment with more focus on compressors, steam turbinesand gearboxes - Category II vibration analyst certification -Minimum of two recent engineering reports or case histories on thesubject of rotating equipment authored by you. These reports shallinclude Compressors and Steam Turbines problems.
