About the Role The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance in Colombia and supporting the broader Andean region. This role involves managing local tax obligations, supporting cross-border transactions, contributing to transfer pricing documentation, and coordinating closely with regional and global tax teams. - Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and submission of all Colombian tax filings, including VAT, income tax, withholding tax, ICA, CREE, and local surcharges. - Act as a key point of contact for the Colombian tax authority (DIAN), handling inquiries, audits, and litigation processes in collaboration with legal advisors. - Coordinate and prepare local transfer pricing documentation, support intercompany transactions, and ensure alignment with the group's global transfer pricing policies. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of intercompany agreements and pricing policies. - Monitor tax law developments in Colombia and the wider LatAm region; assess potential impacts and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders. - Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision calculations under IFRS and Colombian GAAP, ensuring accurate tax accounting and reporting. - Support the global tax team with reporting requirements, including country-by-country reporting (CbCR), Master File preparation, and tax package consolidation. - Work collaboratively with colleagues in Latin America and Europe to ensure consistency of tax positions, proper implementation of group tax strategies, and adherence to internal policies. - Identify and propose process improvements, automation opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies within the tax function. - Support strategic tax planning projects and restructuring initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border flows. - Provide technical tax guidance to internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, supply chain, and commercial teams. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP tax accounting. - 5–7 years of experience in tax, preferably within multinational corporations or Big Four firms. - Demonstrated experience with tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and international reporting. Skills: - Tax Expertise: Strong knowledge of Colombian tax law and compliance. Familiarity with tax frameworks in other Andean countries (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador) is a plus. - International Tax: Solid understanding of OECD guidelines, BEPS, and transfer pricing principles in a multinational context. - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. Capable of clearly articulating tax issues to non-experts and senior management. - Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex regulations and assess implications for the business. - Systems & Tools: Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (preferably SAP). Experience with tax and reporting tools (e.g., Onesource, Power BI) is desirable. - Collaboration: Comfortable working across teams, functions, and geographies in a matrixed organization.
