**Title: Sr Java Developer** **Location: Colombia (Remote)** **Description**: **Essential Functions**: - Understand Pen testing outcome reports, design, plan, and execute remediation activities. - Participate in Agile ceremonies. - Collaborate with other team members to complete complex development tasks across different teams. - Conduct code reviews and perform security assessments to identify and address security issues. - Participate in the design and implementation of authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms. - Troubleshoot security-related issues and provide timely resolutions. - Document security policies, procedures, and guidelines for development teams. - Work with other software developers, architects, and scrum masters, to ensure that the optimal development is delivery in time and quality. - Follow the policies for Code Versioning control of the company. - Perform unit testing of the code developed. - Update the documentation of the development. - Collaborate with QA team members to ensure the resulting code is tested properly. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience as a Java developer, with a focus on security. - Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot). - Experience with Angular for front-end development. - Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and deployment. - Knowledge of security protocols and standards (SSL/TLS, OAuth, JWT). - Understanding of common security threats and mitigation techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Certification in cybersecurity or relevant field (e.g., CISSP, CEH). - Experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite). - Experience with QA tools (e.g., SonarQ). - Experience in Pen-Testing remediation plan. - Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS). - Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
