Puntilla seeks a highly motivated and experienced Headof Business Affairs to join our dynamic music team. In this keyrole, you will oversee all legal and business aspects related toour artists, partners, and catalog. The ideal candidate possesses astrong understanding of the music industry, excellent negotiationskills, and a proven track record in contract management and rightsadministration. Duties will include: Contract Management 1. Draft,review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including but notlimited to artist recording, licensing, distribution, andpartnership agreements. 2. Manage contract lifecycles, includingoptions, renewals, amendments, and terminations. 3. Ensurecompliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Rights Management 1. Oversee the administration and exploitation ofthe company's music catalog, including copyright registration,royalty collection, and licensing. 2. Stay informed about evolvingtrends and best practices in music rights management. BusinessAffairs Administration 1. Develop and maintain efficient systemsfor contract management, rights administration, and other businessaffairs functions. 2. Implement and utilize relevant technologiesto streamline processes. Profitability Analysis 1. Identify andimplement strategies to improve profitability and maintain healthymargins. 2. Analyze and monitor the performance of the label anddistribution divisions. Additional Duties and Skills 1. Fullattention to the department's needs, understanding the points beingmade, and making decisions appropriately. 2. Analyze performancedata and metrics to measure the success of the department. 3.Effectively resolve client issues or disputes to maintain positiverelationships. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Law, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. 2. Experience in businessaffairs or legal roles within the music industry. 3. Comprehensiveknowledge of music industry contracts, copyright law, and licensingpractices. 4. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solvingskills. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Highlyorganized and detail-oriented. Basic Skills 1.
