Big Data Engineer at BairesDev Big Data Engineers will face numerous business-impacting challenges. What You’ll Do Work alongside Developers, Tech Leads, and Architects to build solutions that transform user experience. Impact the core of the business by improving existing architecture or creating new solutions. Create scalable, high-availability solutions that serve as key differentiators for each client. Here Is What We Are Looking For 6+ years of experience as a Developer (preferably in Ruby, Python, Java, JS). 5+ years of experience in Big Data, with familiarity in enterprise topics such as Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Impact Analysis, and Policy Enforcement. Proficiency in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Experience building data pipelines for large data volumes, using known tools or custom solutions. Advanced English proficiency. Desirable Skills Experience building Data Lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architectures. Knowledge of DataOps, including batch and real-time data ingestion and processing. Hands-on experience managing data loads and ensuring data quality. Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and BI environments with open-source tools. Deploying Big Data solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or Cloudera. Real-time data visualization and time series analysis using open-source or commercial tools.
