We are seeking a new team member who will be creating design standards and front end interfaces that enhance the customer's experience with ProcessMaker and facilitate positive experiences with the software for first-party and end users alike. **Responsibilities** - Own the design for feature development within the product to elevate the user experience to best-in-class standards - Align product stakeholders to design standards for a cohesive product experience across both platform and solutions products - Advise on best practices for modern design standards and user experience across all customer-facing offeringsCross-examine design and functionality decisions with internal and external stakeholders **Essential Functions** - Develop mockups and designs for product requirement documents and partner with the engineering team to see the designs through implementation in the product - Maintain the design pattern library for the product’s UI - Perform ad hoc analyses of industry designs and functionality to make recommendations on product strategy decisions to leadershipConduct user testing and market research, including the development of ‘paper’ prototypes and user walkthroughs for user interviews **Minimal Qualifications** - Minimum 2 years of UI design experience - Demonstrated success managing cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority - Technical background with experience in SAAS and enterprise softwareProficiency with design software **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience conducting user research and testing - Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with product launch strategies and/or product management **Top Competencies for Success in This Role** - User Research - You uncover user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions. - Wireframing & Prototyping - You visualize concepts quickly and iterate based on feedback. - Visual Design - You create intuitive, accessible, and on-brand user interfaces. - Collaboration with Product & Engineering - You work cross-functionally to ensure design intent is implemented effectively. - Design Systems - You maintain consistency and efficiency through shared design standards.
